Community Guidelines
Welcome to the TeemUp Community
TeemUp is built to bring Creators, Brands, and Agencies together in an environment of trust, transparency, and productive collaboration. Whether you are a creator pitching your vision or a brand launching a new campaign, these Community Guidelines outline the standards of behavior expected across our platform.
By using TeemUp, you agree to uphold these standards. These guidelines work alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy to maintain a safe, welcoming, and effective space for everyone.
1. Our Core Principles
- Authenticity First: Real creators, genuine audiences, and legitimate brand opportunities.
- Mutual Respect: Professional courtesy in every message, proposal, and negotiation.
- Commitment & Reliability: Honoring agreed deliverables, realistic timelines, and clear communication.
- Transparency: Clear disclosures, honest briefs, and accurate channel representations.
2. Professionalism & Respect
TeemUp is a professional workspace. We expect all members to treat one another with dignity. The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:
- Harassment, bullying, stalking, threats, or intimidation of any kind.
- Hate speech, derogatory comments, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality.
- Abusive language, vulgarity, or aggressive hostility in proposals, chats, or profile descriptions.
3. Honest Creator Profiles
Trust in the creator economy starts with genuine metrics. Creators must accurately represent their reach and audience. You must NOT:
- Buy or artificially inflate subscribers, views, likes, or comments using bots or click farms.
- Manipulate, falsify, or misrepresent channel metrics or audience demographics.
- Connect a YouTube channel that you do not own or are not officially authorized to represent.
- Impersonate another creator, personality, or digital media group.
4. Honest Brand & Agency Profiles
Creators invest real time into crafting pitches and content. Brands and Agencies must ensure their opportunities are genuine. You must NOT:
- Post fake, non-existent, or speculative campaign briefs to farm creator proposals.
- Misrepresent company identity, brand size, or product information.
- Bait-and-switch deliverables, budgets, or agreed compensation terms.
- Ask creators to engage in deceptive promotion or omit legally required advertising disclosures (such as #ad or #sponsored tags).
5. Spam & Unsolicited Outreach
Meaningful partnerships require tailored communication. To maintain quality interactions:
- Do not send mass, copy-pasted cold pitches or generic proposals to dozens of users indiscriminately.
- Do not use the platform for multi-level marketing (MLM), pyramid schemes, or unsolicited affiliate blasts.
- Take time to review a creator's portfolio or a brand's brief before initiating a conversation.
6. Privacy & Personal Safety
Protecting user privacy is essential for safe collaboration. You must NOT:
- Share personal phone numbers, physical addresses, or private contact details of other users without their express consent.
- Engage in doxxing, extortion, or blackmail.
- Publish private campaign discussions, workspace messages, or confidential project details publicly without authorization from all involved parties.
7. Intellectual Property & Content Rights
Respect the creative property of others across all stages of collaboration:
- Only upload images, logos, media kits, and portfolio videos that you own or have explicit permission to use.
- Do not infringe on copyrights, trademarks, or trade dress of other creators, agencies, or brands.
- Do not copy campaign concepts, scripts, or creative proposals submitted by other users without their consent.
8. Responsible Use of AI Features
TeemUp provides AI-assisted features to help match creators with brands and streamline collaboration workflows. You must NOT:
- Use AI tools to fabricate synthetic identity personas or impersonate real creators or brand executives.
- Generate deceptive, fraudulent, or defamatory proposals and communications.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or maliciously manipulate TeemUp's recommendation algorithms.
9. Platform Integrity & Abuse
To ensure a reliable and secure platform for all users, you must NOT:
